At last the gasket kit showed up and now we can get the motor back together. I guess it took so long is because they had to stanp out the new head gasket. 

Not much to report on progress with the gaskets comming in. Got sone of the other motor parts cleaned and all ready to assemble. Didn't relize the valve cover was a bright silver intill I removed 30 years of dirt. Hope by next week end their will be a pic of a complete drive train in place. (depend on how much time my class takes, this week I have spent alot of time with research).

Still waiting on a head gasket so we can put the motor back together. Kind of funny we could get a push rod in a couple of days but the gaskets take a couple of weeks. So not much progress, just a drive train sitting in the corner ready to be assembled. Hope to have it together by the next post.
